Firstly with the help of given expression we have to find the value of x as :-)

 {4}^{x}  -  {4}^{x - 1}  = 24 \\  \\  {4}^{x}  -  {4}^{x}. {4}^{ - 1}  = 24 \\  \\  {4}^{x}  -   \frac{ {4}^{x} }{4}  = 24 \\  \\  {4}^{x} (1 -  \frac{1}{4} ) = 24 \\  \\  {4}^{x} ( \frac{3}{4} ) = 24 \\  \\  {4}^{x}  = 24 \times  \frac{4}{3}  \\  \\  {4}^{x }  = 8 \times 4 \\  \\  {4}^{x}  = 32 \\  \\  {({2}^{2})}^{x}  =  {2}^{5}   \\  \\  {2}^{2x }  =  {2}^{5}

on equating powers of both side we get
