(3a-1)² - 6a + 2
= (3a)² + (1)² - 2(3a)(1) - 6a +2 (since, (a-b)² = a²+b²-2ab)
= 9a² + 1 - 6a - 6a + 2
= 9a² -12a + 3
= 3(3a²-4a +1) (since, (a-b)² = a²+b²-2ab)
= 3(3a-1)(3a-1) ......Ans.
