Answer:

18 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

In the fig.,

AB = CD = MN = 9 cm

MN = OM + ON

ON is the radius of the circle.

The diameter of the circle will be equal to AD = BC = 6 cm.

∴ Radius = 6 ÷ 2 = 3 cm

ON = 3 cm

OM = MN - ON = 9 - 3 = 6 cm

OM is one altitude of the shaded triangle, i. e., ΔOBC.

Area of ΔOBC = 1/2 × BC × OM

= 1/2 × 6 × 6 = 1/2 ×× 36 = 18 cm².

∴ The area of the shaded region is 18 cm².

Hope this may be helpful.

hey mate here is ur required answer

AB = CD = MN = 9 CM

MN. = OM + ON

on is the radius of the circle

the diameter = AD = BC = 6 cm

radius = 6/2 = 2 cm

ON = 3 CM

OM = MN - ON
= 9 - 3
= 6 cm

OM is one altitude of the shaded triangle OBC

ar ( OBC ) = 1/2 * BC * OM

= 1/2 * 6 * 6

= 18 CM^2

plzzzzzzzzzz mark as BRAINLIEST
