Answer : The velocity of ball is changed 4 times.

Detailed answer : A ball which was at rest is 1st kicked by player. The player kicked it ti second player who 2nd time kicked the ball to goal. Then the goalkeeper catch the ball and ball came to rest ( velocity changed 3rd time ). Then the goalkeeper kicked ball 4th time to his team player.

Hence the velocity of ball changed 4 times.
