we have
x^2+5x+5

sum of roots (alpha+beta)=. -b/a= -5

product of roots (alpha•beta)= c/a=5

alpha = - 5- beta

beta(-
5-beta)=5

5beta -beta^2=5

on solving u get alpha and beta then inverse of both then sum in you will get your correct ans

 \alpha + \beta = - 5 \: \: \: \: (1)\\ \\ \alpha \times \beta = 5 \: \: \: (2)
now,

 { \alpha }^{ - 1} + { \beta }^{ - 1} \\ \\ = \frac{1}{ \alpha } + \frac{1}{ \beta } \\ \\ = \frac{ \beta + \alpha }{ \alpha \times \beta } \\ \\ from \: (1)and(2) \\ \\ = \frac{ - 5}{5} = - 1
