As angle bisector of B and C intersect at a incentre and line passing through A passing through it ,So it will bisect angle A

As angle bisector divides the opposite side into corresponding sides

So AY is angle bisector

So BY/YC = AB/AC= 5/4

AS BC = 6

BY + YC = 6

BY/YC + 1 = 6/YC

5/4 +1 = 6/YC

9/4 = 6/YC

YC = 24/9 = 8/3

BY = 5/4 YC = 5/4 × 8/3 = 10/3

In ABY

BX is angle bisector

So AX/XY = AB/BY = 5/(10/3) = 15/10 = 3/2
