★ Hi , there !!★

@ = alpha

a= 2 ,

b = 5

c = k

@ + ß = - b / a

=> -5 / 2 --------------------(1)

@ × ß = c / a

=> k / 2 ----------------------(2)

now ,

( @ + ß )² - @ß = 24

=> ( -5 / 2 )² - k / 2 = 24

25 / 4 - k / 2 = 24

25 / 4 -24 = k

=> 25 - 96 / 4 = k / 2

-71 /4 = k/ 2

=> -71 / 2 = k

hope it helps you dear friend !!!

thanks !!

Yeah sure for your help

.........................

Alpha and beta are the Zeros of polynomial

2x square+ 5 x + 7

THEN alpha +beta = -5 ÷2

ALPHA ×BETA = K ÷2

 ( Alpha + Beta)^2 = ( -5 /2 ) ^2

Alpha square + Beta square + 2 Alpha beta

⇒25 /4

Alpha ∧2 + Beta ∧2 + ALPHA BETA + ALPHA BETA = 25 /4

24+ K /2= 25 / 4

⇒ k /2 = 25 /4 -24

⇒K /2 = 25 /4 - 96 /4

⇒ K /2 = -71 /4

⇒ K = -71/4 * 2

⇒ K = -71 /2
