Since, the see saw is in a balanced condition, that is it is in equilibrium, so,
Anticlockwise moment = Clockwise moment.
=> Weight of the first boy × Distance from the fulcrum = Weight of the second boy × distance from the fulcrum
=> 20 × 1.2 = x × 0.5
=> x = (20×1.2)/0.5
=> x = 48 kg
Hence, weight of the second boy = 48 kg
