 \sf - 6x² + 10x + 24 \\

Take common 2 from the equation

 \sf 2( - 3x² + 5x + 12 ) \\

Now, here

3 × 12 = 36

9 - 4 = 5

(9 × 4) = 36

So,

  • \sf 2( - 3x² + 5x + 12 ) \\

  • \sf 2( - 3x² + 9x - 4x + 12 ) \\

  • \sf 2( -3x(x - 3) -4(x - 3)) \\

  • \sf 2( -3x - 4 ) (x - 3) \\

Hence the factorisation of - 6x² + 10x + 24 is

  • \longrightarrow \underline{\fbox{ \sf 2( -3x - 4 ) (x - 3) }} \\

I hope it helps you ❤️✔️
