Soup is the form of cylinder with
Radius(r) = Diameter/2 = 7/2cm
Height(h) = 4cm
Volume of the soup in cylindrical bowl = πr^2h
= (22/7 X 7/2 X 7/2 X 4)cm^3
= 154cm^3

Soup served to 1 patient = 154cm^3
Soup served to 250 patients=(250 X 154)cm^3
= 38500cm^3
= (38500 X 1/1000)litres
= 38.5 litres

given that,

diameter = 7cm

r=d/2

r=7/2=3.5

height = 4 cm

volume of cylinder = πr^2h

= 22/7x3.5x3.5x4

= 154 cm^2

the soup prepared by hospital for 250 patients

=154x250

= 38,500

=38500/1000

=38.5 lit
