Value of R= 1

Step-by-step explanation:

sec^2 θ(1+ sin θ)(1-sin θ)

= sec^2 θ(1-sin^2 θ) [ By using the identity,(a-b)(a+b) = a^2 - b^2]

= sec^2 θ(cos^2 θ) [ sin^2 θ + cos^2 θ = 1, therefore sin^2 θ - 1 = cos^2 θ]

= 1 [Since,cos^2 θ = 1/cos^2 θ]

So, 1 = R after equating.

R=1

Hope it helps!
