Hey mate, Here's the answer . . .

Given

Density of wood = 0.8

Let V be the volume of wooden block, the volume of liquid displaced= 4V/5

If the density of liquid is d then

The weight of liquid displaced =4/5 Vdg.

The weight of the block = V×0.8×1000×g

As the block floats,

v \times 0.8 \times  {10}^{3}  \times g =  \frac{4}{5}  \times d \times v \times g \\ d =  {10}^{3}  \\ d = 1000kg {m}^{ - 3}

Hope it helps! ! ! !

Answer:

answer is1000

Explanation:

in this sum u need to equate gravitational force with the force of buoyancy according to prinviples of fluids.

Hence,

let mass of obj be m ,volome of it be v,

then,mg =force of buoyancy

mg =(density of liquid)*(volume of wood submerged)*g

but mass /volume =density of obj

(density of obj)*vg=(density of liq)*4/5vg

(relative density)*1000*vg=(density of liq)*4/5vg

0.8*1000=denstiy of liq*4/5

density of liq =1000kgm^-3

Hope this helps you
