Hello there
Q1. Let's suppose a condition where the Electric field is not perpendicular to the surface, and makes an angle θ with the surface,so there will be 2 components of electric field E, which are Ecosθ and Esinθ.
Now the component of electric field which is parallel to the surface i.e. Ecosθ will move the charge, which will cause electric current. Now electric current means moving charges, which contradicts the electrostatic condition.Hence our assumption is wrong and therefore electric field must be perpendicular to the surface under electrostatic condition.

Q4.When the solute is an electrolyte and undergoes association or dissociation in the solvent, this gives rise to abnormal molar mass.
