first 18 multiples of 6 are:

6,12,18,24,.... n=18

Sum of an AP upto 18 elements with a=6 and d = 6

S18 = n/2( 2a+(n-1)d)

S18 = 18/2 (12+(18-1) 6)

S18 = 9( 12+ 17×6)

S18 = 9(12+102) = 1026

We know that mean/ Average = sum of total observation/total number of observation

Average = 1026/18

Average = 57

Solution 2: Total weight of 24 students = 24×35 = 840 kg

As teacher include, total member 25,weight of 25 persons = 25×35.4

= 885 kg

So, weight of teacher = weight of student including teacher - weight of students

weight of teacher = 885- 840 kg = 45 kg
