 \frac{x}{ \sqrt{2.25} }  = 550

Convert the decimal into fraction

 \frac{x}{ \sqrt{ \frac{9}{4} } }  = 550

 \frac{x}{ \frac{3}{2} }  = 550

x \times  \frac{2}{3}  = 550

 \frac{2x}{3}  = 550

2x = 550 \times 3

x =  \frac{1650}{2}

x = 825
