Let the breadth = x m

Then length = 2x m

Given area = 2 hectares

= 2 × 10000 m^2. (1 hec. = 10000m^2)

=> (2x)(x) = 20000

=> 2x^2 = 20000

=> x^2 = 10000

=> x = root 10000

=> x = 100

Therefore breadth = x = 100m

length = 2x = 2 × 100 = 200m

Perimeter = 2 (100+200) m

= 2(300) m

= 600 m

since we fence the boundary not the whole field we took the perimeter.

cost for 1 m = Rs 50

cost for 600 m = 600 × 50

= Rs 30000.

Hope it helps....
