by kinetic energy formula=1/2×mv square
here m=6
and v=16
K.E =1/2×6×16×16=768joules

1) by law of conservation of momentum
m1v1 +m2v2=0
3×16 +6×v2=0
v2=-3×16/6 =-8 m/s - sign indicates opposite direction

kinetic energy =1/2 ×6×8×8=3×64 =192 J =3

2) F=ma
100=500×a
a=1/5 =0.2
u=0 s=30
