Answer:

KINEMATICS

Explanation:

★ Sum 1

V² = U² + 2 a s

s = V² - U² / 2 a

= ( 8 )² - ( 4 )² / 2 × 3

= 64 - 16 / 6

= 48 / 6

★ Displacement ( S ) = 8 metres

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

★ Sum 2

V² - U² = 2 a s

( 10 )² - U² = 2 × 5 × 8.4

100 - U² = 84

U² = 100 - 84 = 16

Initial Velocity ( U ) = 4 m / s

Hope it helps you

Answer:

8m,4m/s

Explanation:

1. v^2 = u^2+ 2as

8^2=(4)^2+2x3xs

64=16+6s

64-16=6s

48=6s

s=8 m

2. 10^2=u^2+2x5x8.4

   100=u^2+84

   100-84=u^2

   u=4m/s
