Answer:

13.

let the sides are 3x and 5x

perimeter = 2(3x+5x)

48=2(3x+5x)

48/2=8x

24=8x

24/8=x

x=3

therefore

sides are 3x = 9cm and 5x=15cm

14.

let the side be x

area = side ×side

25 =x×x

25=x²

x=5

side of square is 5cm

Answer:

MATE PLS ADD ME AS BRAINLIST

Step-by-step explanation:

13)Let the lenght be 5x and breadth be3x

Perimeyer of rectangle=48cm

A.T.Q

2(l+b)=perimeter of rect.

=>2(5x+3x)=48cm.

=>2(8x)=48cm.

=>16x=48cm

=>x=48cm/16

=>x=3cm.

Now,lenght=5x

=5(3cm.)=15cm

breadth=3x

=3(3cm)=9cm.

14)Area of a square=25cm^2

=>l×l=25cm^2

=>l=5cm.

Therefore,side of the square is 5 cm.
