x+y=2m (2)

so multiplying (1) throughout by m

we get

mx+my=2m² (3)

subtracting (1) from (3)

we get

my-(-ny)=2m²-(m²+n²)

ie my+ny=2m²-m²-n²

ie y(m+n)=m²-n²

so y(m+n)=(m+n)(m-n)

y=m-n

substititute value of y in any of two equations

we get

x=m+n

hence (x,y)=[(m+n),(m-n] is solution of above linear equations
