A ratio is equal to 2:7. But the consequent exceeds the antecedent by 25. Find the two numbers of the ratio...

let the numbers be x and x+25

ATQ x/x+25=2/7

=>7x=2x+50

=>7x-2x=50

=>5x=50

=>x=10
