The given question is
2x^2 - 2√2 x +1 = 0
We can factorise it as
2x^2 - √2x - √2x +1 = 0
√2 x(√2 x -1)-1(√2 x-1) = 0
(√2 x-1) (√2 x-1) = 0
(√2 x-1)= 0 or , (√2 x-1) = 0
So, x= 1/√2 , 1/√2 .
