4x +3 + 11 = 13 ( take all the degrees nd solve it )
4x + 14 = 13
4x = 13 - 14
4x = -1
x = -1/4

Topic :-

Exponents and Powers

Given :-

8 \times 3^{4x + 3}+3^{11}=3^{13}

To Find :-

Value of x.

Formula to be Used :-

a^{m+n}=a^m \times a^n

Concept Used :-

If\:\: a^x=a^y,\:then\:\:x=y.

Solution :-

8 \times 3^{4x + 3}=3^{13}-3^{11}

8 \times 3^{4x + 3}=3^{11}(3^2-1)

8 \times 3^{4x + 3}=3^{11}(9-1)

8 \times 3^{4x + 3}=3^{11}(8)

Cancelling 8 from both sides,

3^{4x + 3}=3^{11}

Now,

We can say that,

4x + 3 = 11

4x = 11 - 3

4x = 8

x = \dfrac{8}{4}

x = 2

Answer :-

So, the value of x is 2.
