Answer:a)0.6 A through 10ohms and 0.4 through 15 omhs.

b) 5V across AB and 11 V across AC

c)11ohms

Explanation:

a) Since in a parallel combination P.D across the branches is same so current flow in the reciprocal of the ratio of resistance .

1/10/15=3/2

Hence current flows in the ratio 3:2 which is 0.6 and 0.4 A

b)V=IR

V(across AB)= 1 A×5 ohms

V (acrossAC)=1A ×(5+6)ohms = 11 V

Total resistance =5 ohms + 6ohms (effective resistance of parallel combination)

=11 Ohms
