  • Area of ABCD - Area of PQRS

area of big rectangle= l× b = 10×8 = 80 cm²

area of small parallelogram = b×h = 6×4 = 24 cm²

areas of shaded region = area of big rectangle- area of small parallelogram

area of shaded region = 80 - 24 = 56 cm²
