Generation Gap create a lot of misunderstandings in a family. It is big cause that destroys the whole family. As the new generation have their own attitude they generally don't want to be that they should do what their elders ask they had their own mind set whereas Older generation have their own mind set. They had a lots of expectation with their young ones. Nowadays increasing in generation gap is also due to the reason that we are adopting western culture. Their is completely no communication and understanding between people of different generation in family. Modern children wants freedom they never wish to be under their guardians. This all reasons causes a lot of problems in family and I think that we we need to solve it. Effort from both sides are needed.
