• Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 10 m/s²

• Final velocity (v) = 18 m/s

Unknown Quantities;

• Height (H) = ?

Solution;

Third kinematical equation of motion:

=> v² - u² = 2 (-g)(-H)

=> (18)² - (0)² = 2 (-10)(-H)

=> 324 = 20H

=> H = 324 ÷ 20

=> H = 16.2 m

Hence,the height (H) of the tower is option (B) 16.2 m.
