Hey!!!

Good Evening

___________

let the two numbers be x and y (x > y)

Then ATQ

=> 3x = 4y + 3 (Euclid's Division Lemma chapter 1)

=> ( 3x - 4y = 3 )5

Also

=> 7y = 5x + 1

=> ( 5x - 7y = - 1 )3

Thus we have

=> 15x - 20y = 15
and
=> 15x - 21y = -3

By Elimination

=> 15x - 20y = 15
=> 15x - 21y = - 3
(-). (+). (+)

=> y = 18 <<<<<< Answer

Using y in the first equation

=> 3x - 4y = 3

=> 3x - 4(18) = 3

=> 3x = 3 + 72

=> 3x = 75

=> x = 25 <<<<<<< Answer

Thus the greater number is 25 and smaller is 18
