please solve this question.

1) EXPLAIN WHY CAN'T ANIMALS MAKE THEIR OWN FOOD BY USING CARBON DIOXIDE , WATER , SOIL AND SUNLIGHT. IF THEY CAN'T MAKE THEIR FOODS HOW DO THEY GET ENERGY TO SURVIVE?

Animals are hetrophic nature in nature , they can not directly utilize inorganic substances like CO2 H2O  whereas they need to be converted into organic compounds which are made by plants ie starch and then it can be utilized by animals; animals also dont have chlorophyll to convert sunlight into chemical energy; so they get food from the plants ie autotrophic organisms and by respiration we get the energy
