First of all we have to find the height of the balloon from ground.
let the height be 'x' metres
now consider a ∆ ABC, in which AB is perpendicular, AC is Hypotenuse, BC is base and angle B is 90°
so, given is
BC = 90m
angle C = 60°
AB = x
now,
tanC = perpendicular/base = AB/BC
tan60° = x/90
√3 = x/90
x = 90√3 metres
hence, height of the balloon is 90√3metres.
At last,
to find speed
we have distance = 90√3 m
time = 1 min = 60 sec
therefore we use,
Speed = Distance/Time
Speed = 90√3/60
Speed = 3√3/2 m/sec
