First of all we have to find the height of the balloon from ground.

let the height be 'x' metres

now consider a ABC, in which AB is perpendicular, AC is Hypotenuse, BC is base and angle B is 90°

so, given is

BC = 90m

angle C = 60°

AB = x

now,

tanC = perpendicular/base = AB/BC

tan60° = x/90

3 = x/90

x = 903 metres

hence, height of the balloon is 903metres.

At last,

to find speed

we have distance = 903 m

time = 1 min = 60 sec

therefore we use,

Speed = Distance/Time

Speed = 903/60

Speed = 33/2 m/sec
