Step-by-step explanation:

Solution

\sf = {8 {x}^{2} - 18x - 5}=8x2−18x−5

\sf = {8 {x}^{2} - 20x + 2x - 5}=8x2−20x+2x−5

\sf = {2}^{2} x \left( \bf\frac{{2}^{3} \times {x}^{2}}{ {2}^{2} \times x } - \frac{ {2}^{2} \times 5x }{ {2}^{2} \times x } \right) + (2x - 5)=22x(22×x23×x2−22×x22×5x)+(2x−5)

= \sf{4x( {2}^{3 - 2} \times {x}^{2 - 1} - 5) + (2x - 5) }=4x(23−2×x2−1−5)+(2x−5)

\sf{ = (2x - 5)(4x + 1)}=(2x−5)(4x+1)

hope it helps ☺️
