Need to FinD :-

  • The accelⁿ of body from A to B .
  • Total Displacement of body from A to C .

\red{\frak{Given}}\Bigg\{ \sf A \ ( v - t ) \ graph \ is \ given \ to \ us.

We know that ,

  • The slope of v - t graph gives acceleration .
  • The area under v - t grah gives displacement .

From A to B :-

  • Slope = tanθ .

\small \sf\longrightarrow Slope = tan\theta \\\\\\\small\sf\longrightarrow Acceleration = \dfrac{ BM}{MO}  \\\\\\\small \sf\longrightarrow Acceleration = \dfrac{ 20m/s}{3s}  \\\\\\\footnotesize\sf\longrightarrow \underline{\underline{\red{ Acceleration = 6.66 \ m/s^2 }}}

From A to C :-

  • Displacement is the area under the graph . So that ,

\small \sf\longrightarrow Area = ar(\triangle BOM ) + ar(\triangle BMC )  \\\\\\\small\sf\longrightarrow s = \dfrac{1}{2} \times AC \times BM  \\\\\\\small\sf\longrightarrow s = \dfrac{1}{2} \times 20m/s \times 7 s  \\\\\\\footnotesize\sf\longrightarrow \underline{\underline{\red{ Displacement_{(From \ A \ to \ C )} =  70m }}}
