Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

length=5m

breadth=4m

height=3m

area of four walls=2(l+b)h

=2(5+4)3

=54m^2

area of one wall= l x b

=5m x 4m

=20m^2

add both areas

=54m^2+20m^2=74m^2

door is not needed to be painted=

=74m^2 - 3m^2

=71m^2

we have to double coat the walls by paint

=71m^2 x 2

=142m^2

if 4L paint can paint 36m^2

=142/36

=4 cans will be needed

Area of ceiling and walls=2(l+b)h+lb

=2(5+4)3+20

=18*3+20

=54+20

=74m2

Without walls=74-3m2

=71m2

4L=36m2

1L=9m2

Area because of double coat=71*2m2

=142m2

Required L=142/36m2

=3.9444L

=4L(approx.)
