If x =60
2x + y =180° -----(linear angles)
2 (60)+y=180°
120+y=180°
y=180°-120°
y=60°
If u = 40°
2x + y =180° -----(linear angles)
2x+40=180°
2x=180°-40°
2x=140°
x=140°/2
x=70°
