given :-

inner diameter of the hemispherical bowl = 10cm

therefore inner radius = 10/2 (since we know that diameter is double the Length of it's radius)

= 5cm

to find the cost of tin-plating, we need to first find it's inner curved surface area.

formula to find the inner curved surface area is 2πr²

it's inner curved surface area = 2πr²

= 2 × 22/7 × 5 × 5

= 1100/7cm²

now, given the cost is rupees 16 per 100cm².

➡ cost of 1cm² = 16/100

= rupees 0.16

hence, total cost of tin plating = 1100/7 × 0.16

= 176/7

= rupees 25 (approximately)
