There are 54 (red and blue) marbles in a bowl. Blue marbles are twice as as many as red marbles. What is the probability of getting a blue marble

so, red+blue =54

  => 3x=54

  => x= 18

no of red marble =18

no of blue marble= 36

The probability (P) of getting blue marble= 36/54 =2/3
