AD =28cm , BC=14cm

ED=(28-14)cm = 14cm

In triangle ACE

AC=50cm, AE= 14cm

so,(CE)²=(AC)² - (AE)²

(CE)²= (50)² -(14)²

(CE) = 2500 - 196

CE = (2204)½

CE= 84 cm

Now,In Triangle CDE

CE=84cm , DE=14cm and CD=x

(CD)²=(CE)² +(DE)²=(84)²+(14)²

(CD)²=7056+196=7252

CD=7252½=85.1cm
