in an equilateral triangle all sides are equal
so,
perimeter is
a +a+a=180
3a=180
a=60

formula for equilateral triangle
 \sqrt{3}  \div 4 \times a {}^{2}
if we apply it
 \sqrt{3}  \div 4 \times 60 \times 60
900 \sqrt{3}
is the required area..

hope this helps...

Hello Mate!

So, first focus and we get that,

The park is "equilateral triangle" and its perimter is 180 cm.

Since we we know that perimeter of equilateral triangle is 3a.

3a = 180 cm

a = 180/3 or 60 cm.

Now, Heron's formula = √[ s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) ]

Where, s =>( a + b + c )/2

s = 180 cm / 2 or 90 cm

So, √[ 90(90-60)(90-60)(90-60) ] cm²

= √[ 3 × 30 × 30 × 30 × 30 ] cm²

= 30 × 30 √[ 3 ] cm²

= 900√3 cm²

If you want to simplify it more,

= 900 × 1.73 cm²

= 1557 cm²

Hence area of triangle is 1557 cm².

Have great future ahead!
