1. C6H12O6 -> H2O + CO2....

Lhs...molecular mass is 72 + 12 + 96

= 180 u...

Rhs...molecular mass is... 2+16. ..+12 +32

= 62 u....

Which does not follow the Law of conservation of mass...by balancing the eqn....we get exact mass on right side.....

2. CH4 + O2 -> CO2 + H2O

Lhs....molecular mass is 12 + 4 + 32

=48 u

Rhs ....molecular mass is 12 + 32 + 2 +16

=62 u.....

Which does not follow the law of conservation of mass.....

By balancing the equation we get......
