Given : BX = 1/2 AB, BY = 1/2 BC and AB = BC .
To prove : BX = BY
Proof : As, AB = BC
Then, 1/2 AB = 1/2 BC
So, by using the Euclid's axiom that Things which are equal to the same thing are equal to one another,
BX = BY.
