7 sin²ø + 3 cos²ø = 4

Now

7 sin²ø + 3 cos²ø = 4 (sin²ø + cos²ø)

7 sin²ø + 3 cos²ø = 4 sin²ø + 4cos²ø

7 sin²ø - 4sin²ø = 4 cos²ø - 3 cos²ø

3 sin²ø = cos²ø

sin²ø / cos²ø = 1/3

tan²ø = 1/3

tanø = 1/√3

Hence

tanø = 1/3 = 30°

ashish9762: Please, Tell me How you multiply by sin^2 theta + cos^2 theta in LHS.
ShubhGandhi2903: As LHS is 4 ok
ShubhGandhi2903: then 4 = 4 × 1
ShubhGandhi2903: then 4 = 4 × (sin²ø + cos²ø)
ShubhGandhi2903: As we know that (sin²ø + cos²ø) = 1
