According to law of conservatiton of momentum,

m1u1 + m2u2 = m1v1 + m2v2

here, m1=mass of first body =0.2 kg ; m2=mass of second body =0.3 kg ; u1=initial velocity of first body =3 m/s ; u2= initial velocity of second body =2 m/s ; v1= final velocity of first body = 1.8 m/s; v2= final velocity of second body = ?

putting the values,

(0.2 x 3 ) + (0.3 x 2) = (0.2 x 1.8) + (0.3 x v2)

or, v2 = 2.8 m/s
