providing viscosity of the blood- plasma

clotting of the blood- platelet

transporting  oxygen- red blood cell

fighting bacteria - white blood cell

Explanation:

  • Plasma contain several plasma protein like albumin which increase blood viscosity.
  • Loose aggregation of platelets is responsible for blood clotting.
  • RBC contain hemoglobin. Hemoglobin has the capability of binding O2. O2 binds to the hemoglobin in a cooperative fashion. RBC is responsible for binding and transporting O2.
  • WBC are several type like neutrophil, eosinophil, basophil, monocyte, lymphocyte.
  • Neutrophil can perform phagocytosis  and release antibacterial product. Eosinophil have a role in parasitic infection. lymphocyte such as T cell and B cell have role in cell mediated immunity and humoral immunity(antibody mediated)
