once the earth was lush and green and teeming with life. The present day man however, although scientifically forward than other animals and were on earth for the least time, has built factories emitting toxic gases into the air and chemicals into the water, greedily cut down trees without planting any more, exploiting Mother nature's gifts and in short causing pollution to the environment. pollution has harmful effects which lead to extinction of species and destruction of life. Already, in the recent past, a few have become extinct. For example, the dodo. it is upto the future generations to fix this problem. otherwise the Earth will become bare and deserted. the Government has already taken a few steps. this is a good sign. we too must try to help Mother Earth .
