here I take alpha=a and beta=b
(a+b)^2=a^+b^+2ab
(a-b)^2=a^-2ab+b^2
a^-b^2=(a-b)(a+b)

Hey mate I think this may help you out!!

1)(a+b)^2= a^2+b^2+2ab.
2)(a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab.
3)(a^2-b^2)=(a+b)(a-b).
4)(a+b)^3=a^3+b^3+3ab(a+b).

PriyaReddy1436: should I write it in a,b form
