Answer:

a) △ ABC is a right angled triangle.

By Pythagoras theorem,

AC²=BC²+AB²

=>AC²=6²+8²

=>AC²=36+64

=>AC²=100

=>AC= root 100

=>AC=10cm.

b)△ XYZ is a right angled triangle.

By Pythagoras theorem,

ZX²=YZ²+XY²

=>ZX²=4²+3²

=>ZX²=16+9

=>ZX²=25

=>ZX= root 25

=>ZX=5cm.
