Read the questions carefully, as any silly mistake of understanding the question can be damaging. After you get the question paper, spend five minutes to glance through it. ...Do not waste time if you get stuck with a question. ...Revise the paper carefully..Time management is very important as many students leave many questions without even attempting..

Let's go all thru this.
⇒ Before Paper Preparation.
Study for your own and not for showing others. Don't leave any question you find difficult. Maths isn't about learning, it's a conceptual subject which relies totally on how much you practice, Practice and only practise can make you score good in the test. Refer some extra books along with the school material to help you with different types of question. Leave one entire day for just sample papers. Solve them, analyse and correct where you're going wrong.
⇒During Paper
Try to do quality time management during your exam. Set your time for different sections before hand. Don't waste time on questions you don't know, you can always come back later. Try to solve all easy ones first. When solving questions, be sure of what is given what is there to find. Don't jump on the question too soon, read it properly and fully. Revise your paper thoroughly before submitting, it helps.
⇒ After Paper
So now you're done with the paper and the least you an do now about it, is that you forget it. You've done and now worrying about questions that you weren't able to do will make you less empowered for the next paper.
Good Luck. I'm sure you'll do great!
