Let √30 be x "For easy understanding".

Then,

$x - 3 - 2x +10 + x - 6 = (x + x - 2x) + (10 - 3 - 6)$

⇒ $(x + x - 2x) + (10 - 3 - 6) = (2x-2x)+ (10-9) = 0 + (1) = 1$
