Hey I have a doubt.... anything subtracted from it self is 0 right..!!! Why is it not so in this case?

infinity is currently defined as reciprocal of 0. As we can not use reciprocal of 0 in mathematical proofs or results, we say that infinity - infinity is not equal to 0.
