please tell me my questions
Question number D.2,D.4,D.6
E.1,E.2,E.4,E.5
PLEASE friends don't give me comments like hi, I don't know the answer, etc.
Answers
D2- electric heater,electric cooker,electric toaster.
D4- Short circuiting is caused when the phase and neutral wire meet together making resistance zero causing large amount of electricity to pass resulting in shocks and sparks.
overloading is the process of flow of excess current through the circuit due to the connection with many appliances in a single socket.
D6- electro magnets are used in hospitals, cranes, electric card readers.
E1- there are two reasons.
one is that the wires are made up of copper and filament is made up of material which emit light when current passes.
second, the resistance as well as the melting point of the the filament is higher than wire causing it to become white hot and emit light.
E2- since the heater is connected in series, the potential difference also changes causing the bulb to glow less brightly or dull
E4 - because the tungsten gave high melting point and comparatively low resistance. Fuse wires should have high resistance and low melting point.
E5 - see the attachment. when electricity is passed simultaneously with breaks ,the stricker gets pulled towards the bell due to the electro magnetic effect. thus a bell rings.
I don't know why u asked E4(you have written it),but hope it helps ;)
